Bayern Munich began their Champions League campaign with a commanding victory over Bodø/Glimt, scoring five unanswered goals in the second half to secure all three points.
After a goalless first half, Jamal Musiala broke the deadlock in the 47th minute. Harry Kane doubled the lead in the 71st minute, before Alphonso Davies added a third in the 77th. French winger Michael Olise made it four in the 83rd minute.
Bodø/Glimt’s troubles worsened when Oden Bjørtuft was sent off in the 88th minute, reducing them to ten men. In stoppage time, Olise scored his second and Bayern’s fifth to complete the rout.
With this win, Bayern Munich have collected their first three points in the competition, as they aim to win their seventh title and their first since 2020. Bodø/Glimt remain without a point.
Bayern will next travel to Norwegian side Viking, while Bodø/Glimt will host German club Borussia Dortmund.
