Inter’s Early Strike Decides Tight Contest
Hakan Calhanoglu scored the only goal of the match in the ninth minute, unleashing a powerful shot from outside the box that nestled into the bottom corner, leaving Cagliari goalkeeper Elia Caprile with no chance. Despite dominating long stretches, Inter failed to convert several other opportunities to seal the game earlier. Lautaro Martinez came close with a fierce effort, and Caprile made a crucial save to deny Federico Dimarco.
