Erling Haaland scored both goals as Manchester City defeated Porto to claim their first three points of the Champions League campaign. The Norwegian opened the scoring in the 47th minute and added a second in the first minute of stoppage time at the end of the second half, sealing the win for the English side.

Manchester City are aiming to reassert themselves in the Champions League after last season’s exit in the round of 16 against Real Madrid. They lost that tie 5-1 on aggregate over the two legs.
