HUMAIN, a company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), and Reflection AI, a developer of advanced open AI models, have announced plans to expand their collaboration in the field of sovereign AI. The partnership will involve deploying Reflection AI’s models on HUMAIN’s AI infrastructure within the Kingdom, following the initial release of Reflection AI’s first models later this year.
The announcement was made at the LEAP 2026 technology conference in Riyadh. It combines HUMAIN’s growing AI infrastructure capabilities with Reflection AI’s advanced models, aiming to provide cutting-edge AI capabilities to regional customers within a sovereign environment in Saudi Arabia.
Initial Deployment and Regional Access
Under the announced plans, the initial deployment will make Reflection AI’s first publicly available model accessible on infrastructure located in Saudi Arabia. This will allow regional clients to leverage advanced AI models within a sovereign setting. The move also sets the stage for exploring broader cooperation in sovereign AI deployment and computing capabilities.
Future Computing and Training Support
The two companies intend to explore how Reflection AI can utilize HUMAIN’s computing resources to meet future training and inference needs for its models. This would support the expansion of AI model development and operations within the Kingdom.

Tariq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, noted that open AI models are playing an increasingly important role in how government and private sectors build and control their AI capabilities. He added that the collaboration with Reflection AI aims to expand these possibilities by offering advanced models in Saudi Arabia, enabling customization and deployment tailored to real-world use cases. Amin described Reflection AI’s initial models as a starting point for what could become a wider partnership involving model development, sovereign AI, and enterprise-level AI solutions.
Misha Laskin, co-founder and CEO of Reflection AI, stated that the company views HUMAIN as a strategic partner to help scale advanced AI models. He highlighted that combining Reflection AI’s models and AI infrastructure software expertise with HUMAIN’s infrastructure and computing platform opens the door to deploying models that can be customized for sovereign AI requirements.
